“Some memories are unforgettable, remaining ever vivid and heartwarming! ” -Joseph B. Wirthlin

Qazi Shafat Ahmed, our Vice President of Public Relation and member of the founding executive team of Heroes for All justify this earth for his journey to eternity on 31 March 2017. There is a saying , ” good dies young.” And our dear comrade and friend Shafat was undoubtedly a beautiful soul whose loss is felt every second among all who knew him. His incorrigible positive attitude and passion to do something for the children and youth was contagious.
I still remember him giving me a call when Heroes for All was at its infant stage in USA and requested me to launch a local Branch of HFA in Bangladesh. Despite his continious battle with cancer, Shafat remained an eternal optimist till the end and undoubtedly was one of the major driving force to establish Heroes for All in Bangladesh. He told me that he found his will to live through this organization that can breathe hope among the young people who feel lost.
We all were inspired by his resilience and will keep his memories alive through our work. He embodied the spirit of Heroes for All being a warrior himself. Shafat’s absence is felt every time we organize our program but his belief in HFA continuously inspires us through his favorite poet Rumi’s word.

“Everyone has been made for some particular work, and the desire for that work has been put in every heart.” – Rumi
